Background task Activating Fonts queuing error

Hi everyone,

I've been having this headache with background tasks running to activate a font (infinate loading), and my queuing jobs are all sitting in the wait list. I will have to risk losing my working file by quitting and restarting to export one job.

I know this issue has been raised by the others, this is 2023 April and the same problem doesn't seem to get resolved and this fustrates me.

Anyone have a temporary solution for this without quitting the software everytime?

Thank you

I'm assuming that you're talking about activating Adobe fonts. It seems to happen to everyone sometime. I notice it can be more likely during the middle of a workday. It probably also is affected by my hardware and how much RAM you have.

I kmow you don't like the idea but on a key project (or for me when I'm teaching a class), it's a really a good idea to reboot your computer. It clears out RAM and for me that almost always works.

Here's an idea... How about Adobe fixes the issue? I already restarted once today. UGH
