El problema de las referencias bibliográficas, los enlaces internos de Word no funcionan al importar

Trabajo en la maquetación de publicaciones científicas y un problema constante es que, al importar los documentos Word, los enlaces internos entre las referencias bibliográficas y sus citas en el texto no funcionan.

Se mantienen los estilos de párrafo y carácter, pero los enlaces dejan de funcionar. En la vista del editor de artículos las palabras enlazadas originales aparecen entre iconos de enlace, pero no son viables ni se pueden borrar, además no es posible crear un nuevo hipervínculo en ese punto, has de borrar el texto completo y volver a escribirlo. Sin embargo los hiperenlaces a url se importan y funcionan correctamente.

En el texto de destino se mantiene el símbolo de anclaje de texto, visible cuando se activa la vista de caracteres ocultos, pero tampoco aparece como destino de hipervínculo seleccionable cuando intentas crear un nuevo enlace.

No funciona con soluciones que he visto en el foro, ni manteniendo los estilos en las opciones al importar, ni pasando el .docx a .doc, ni copiando y pegando, ni arrastrando y soltando....

Este es un problema que enlentece enormemente nuestro trabajo y nos hace invertir mucho tiempo en solucionarlo.

Por lo que he visto en esta comunidad, este es un problema que muchos usuarios han reportado desde hace años pero que nunca han solucionado desde Adobe.

You are absolutely correct in that end notes are a fragile element in InDesign, and importing them from Word only seems to compound the issues.

 

A solution that may clear up many of your import and workflow problems is to "purge" the Word file by exporting it to RTF, them opening that and saving it as a DOCX file under a new name. Use the full file import process to place that file in an InDesign document (not cut and paste).

 

That seems to have been the fix for buggy endnotes in most cases.

Hi James, thank you for your response,
my problem is not in the endnotes but in the internal links between the bibliographic references and their citations.
I understand that the system used to link both should be the same, that of making a link to a text anchor or even a cross reference, but it is not so.
When importing, the endnotes do not generate any problem for me, at least since a few versions of indesign.

I have tried the system you propose in case of luck, but it didn't work either. Thanks anyway!

My solution was to address what is usually the problem, the broken links between the references and the endnotes. It does not always work. There is no good single solution for endnote problems; it is a matter of trying one thing after another until the links import correctly.

 

Is the source file directly from a version of Word? These problems multiply if the authoring tool is a substitute such as Google Docs or Pages, exported or saved in Word. Opening the document in Word and saving to a clean DOCX, a DOC and an export to RTF might produce a useable import document.

 

(Feel free to post in Spanish if you can express yourself more clearly that way. The translation system here is quite good.)
