There are some format issues that would make text seem to disappear (setting the wrong Keep options, which will "keep it together" but outside of the text frames, etc.) but if it's not showing up in the Story Editor... I'm afraid it may be gone. You may have accidentally hit something like "select all / delete" while saving — it happens.

Always create running backups of your work. Save-As at least once a day to a new, dated or numbered file name.

Hi @Alexey2869135459nb: If you add a new text frame somewhere in the page margin, what does the original text frame show in the Layers panel? The beginning of the old text still, or <text frame>?

Hi @Barb Binder , if I add a new text box Im able to write and it stays. When it comes to the old text boxes, they are still visible but the text isnt, however like you mentioned, in the layers tab, Im able to see the beggining of the old text that should be visible.

Hi @Alexey2869135459nb:

I'm asking because in my experience, the text frame name in the Layers panel uses the first words of the content. But if you erase the content and add a new text frame, InDesign updates the name to <text frame>. Yours didn't, so it sounds like it is still there.

Could you please show Hidden Characters (bottom of the Type menu), select one of the empty threaded frames and tap Ctrl/Cmd+Y and then share the screen shot?
