I have unchecked the 'Highlight objects under selection tool' option in preferences. but boxes containing graphics continue to highlight uner the selection tool. It's really itirating, I thought adobe had stopped this. Does any one else have this issue and is there a fix for it?

Sorry for the delay in response. Along with the settings in the preference, you can  switch off the option of Content Grabber, please refer to snapshot:

Neustart? Cache löschen? Unter einem neuen Benutzer getestet? Eventuell ID neu installieren?

Hi @lawrencem85542639,

Thanks for reaching out. I tested this on my end on the InDesign 17.3 & macOS and it seems to be happening only with boxes containing images. I'll check this behavior with the team and will update you shortly.

@aniri5j9ox8tw2ln Did you test this with an image in the box? If not, could you please test and let us know if you're able to reproduce the issue?

Regards

Rishabh
