Hello, I am having the following issue and my background is not seeing on my mobile phone. I am having the same issue with InDesign and Illustrator. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks!
The document should look like this and get this:

You are showing Illustrator’s Save As not InDesign’s Export dialog. Are you Exporting from InDesign? Show the InDesign Export Output tab’s settings.

The main document is in illustrator. I was switching it to InDesign to see if it would change but it is the same. Attached is the Illustrator Export window

You are not changing the Output settings to what we have been showing you.
Should be this—set the Standard to None, then Compatibity Acrobat 4, Color Conversion: Convert to Destination, Destination: sRGB, Profile Inclusion: Include Destination Profile:

Ok, I did that and it is showing on mobile, but the document just with the background is 11 MB. How can I do to keep illustrator editing capabilities and low this document for web?

And now the overall document is not showing the RGB option as the destination. What to do?

Try setting your Compression tab to this:

So like that the front cover image is not showing and the document still goes to 10 MB.

As it's going on email you could probably export your background as an image like a flattened tiff and place that back into the background instead.
This would negate all the issues with the pdf settings.

You can do the same settings with a Save as PDF out of Illustrator:

The PDF in the site you linked to also, was exported with the wrong settings—Acrobat 7 Compatibility, and no RGB profile included:
Also there are Spot Colors, which should probably be converted to Process Color

Ok, that's why I wanted guidance on what to do for this document even the swipe of colors or change of anything. I tried exporting as interactive PDF but it shows the image by itself without the gradient.

As i said at the start just export to jpeg is going to end up that way in outlook anyway. And colour will vary from device to device anyway.

Ah I see - I was just using it as a starting point to get to the end result, shortcuts for me are fine, but I failed to explain the process fully.
Thanks.
