Probably a simple question but my AI-assistant cant help me and also google was not very helpfull. Maybe I do not use the right words for it (English is not my native language). I hope you understand me and can help me because the issue and the fact that I cant find the answer really annoyes me.
In indesign In view-modus Normal when I change the color of the fonts form black to white I get a sort of text marking (a white background). How can I remove this? In the preview modus the background is gone and also if I export the file to PDF. But I would like to see my all text without a background because it blocks a clear view of my design.
Many thanks for your help!

I think that may be the Style Override Highlighter

Screenshots, please, but it sounds like you may have a missing font or some kind of composition exception.

The OP already mentioned that it only showed up in Normal mode and not Preview mode, so I think he is familiar with the feature.
