Hello

I have been trying to get in touch with customer service for a frustrating amount of time concerning my CS6 adobe version. I can't go through the virtuel agent because i bought the suite in 2012 and it says to logging with a subscription account. I have a accound with my serial number on it but i won't let me speak with anybody. It is so frustrating. Is there anyone with a phone number ou client care email?

I can't believe a huge entreprise like Adobe have such a horrible customer experience

Thanks for helping

There is a point at which nearly all companies stop offering direct support on outdated versions. You might try getting support from Microsoft for Win 7, for example. You'll be referred to more or less static knowledge bases, and not much more. That Adobe will give some help, as difficult as it may be to reach, is not common among major software makers. And again, this is very old software in a very fast-moving segment.

CS6 will not run on any newer Mac at all, since the OS no longer supports 32-bit software. (And there are more people than you unhappy with that hard shift in support.) If you want to run a ten-year old system with over ten year old software, your only option is to freeze the whole system in updates. You can't move forward to a new OS and keep old software. At all.

CS6 can be made to work on a Win7 system, with some compatibility settings addresses. It's variable as to whether it can be made to work well, with all features functional, on anything later. There are some folks here who know the very specific ins and outs. (It's unlikely Adobe support can give you more than a few boilerplate suggestions; they simply don't support old sofware on new OSes, and are far from alone in that respect.)

If none of the "old wares" folks here jump in, I will ping them to see if they care to offer answers.

0 The customer satisfaction problem has been an issue that has never been resolved for a long time, and ours is one of them, no one cares about it, go ahead and see for yourself...

Hi @Mark Gunter,

We understand how frustrating it could be for you. I would feel the same in your situation. I have requested some information on this post: https://community.adobe.com/t5/indesign-discussions/high-cpu-usage-while-idle-indesign-2021-2022-2023-2024-versions/m-p/14161938#M546077.

Could you please share the details with me so that I can escalate the issue to the team for further investigation?

We will try our best to help you.

Thanks,

Harshika

Talking to phone centers in India is almost always difficult at best. The accents are extremely hard to understand...plus the conversation always goes in circles, and the person at the other end is overly verbose in a disorienting way. I don’t understand why I can’t speak to someone in the USA? As a customer, I expect simple, proactive and clear communication. Especially when I am experiencing difficulty with your product. The issue is still unresolved and your call center had NO good solutions! It is a simple matter with my email address and a current change to that address, so that I receive important emails from you. Again, I am a customer... Moreover, I’d like to speak to someone who can help and that I can understand what they are attempting to communicate!  HELP!!!!!!

Hi Jonathan:

Have you tried the chat button on this page? https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html That will circumvent your difficulty with the accents.

Tell me...what other 13-year-old product would you expect to be supported?

Why wouldn't be supported? It work well on older version of Pc and MAC.

My Imac works well and it's a 2012 Imac, i just can't update the IOS or i loose my access to CS6 which is completly frustrating

Why? Because it's 11 years old. There have been more versions released AFTER CS6 than there were before it. You're being totally unreasonable here. If you want CS6 to function on your 2012 iMac, don't update the O/S...it's that simple.

You know, you are really not helping. You could keep your comments to yourself. I can't afford to buy the monthly subsciption neither to change my computer. You don't know my situation and a little bit of kindness here would be helpfull. Good evening

Not many eleven-year-old software editions get first-rank customer support. Some have absolutely none past a certain point.

Unless it's a specific customer/account issue, you might do better to ask your question here. A caution, though, that there are no simple answers to compatibility and feature support issues with CS6 and older releases, nor are there any updates.

Why would you give less help for a older software edition? The CS6 works great and i bought it full price. I mean no offense but customer service should'nt not decreased with the age of a sfotware.

I am trying to figured out a way to use my full price bought CS6 software with a Mac up to date or a with a new PC
