Hey ich hab seit Wochen ein Problem mit Indesign. Mein Indesign lädt die ganze Zeit oder öffnet sich gar nicht, wenn ich Zuhause bin. Die andere Programme wie Illustrator und Photoshop funktionieren einwandfrei. Un was ich nicht verstehe ist, dass mein Indesign aber an anderen Standorten einwandfrei funktioniert. Ich hab die Creative Cloud und Indesign öfters deinstalliert und neu installiert. Ich habe auch das Creative Clean Tool benutzt um ältere Versionen zu löschen. Es funktioniert noch immer nicht , wenn ich Zuhause bin, nur an anderen Standorten. Weiß jemand ob es am Wlan liegt ? Das kann eigentlich ja nicht sein, weil man die Adobe Programme auch offline benutzen kann. Oder liegt es an der neuen Software Sequoia von Mac? Ich bitte um jede Hilfe , es ist dringend. Ich arbeite nur mit Indesign.

Ich habe an einem iMac das selbe Problem. Meine Lösung ist, dass ich mein Gerät einschalte, dann nach 15 Minuten lass ich erst InDesign starten und dann mache ich was anders und erst dann ist InDesign laufbereit. Deshalb schalte ich meinen Computer vor dem Frühstück ein und fange danach zum Arbeiten an. Wobei infolge, bis zum nächsten Update InDesign schneller startet. ls Prerelease Member erhalte ich allerdings häufiger Updates, als der normale User.

Danke für deine Antwort. Mein Laptop kriegs schon  nach einer halbe Stunde eingeschaltet nicht hin es zu öffnen und mein Indesign lädt nur ständig. Ich komm gar nicht dazu zu arbeiten. Es hängt sich schon auf , wenn nur eine leere Datei geöffnet ist oder ich irgendeinen Klick mache. Aber, wenn ich an einem Standort bin mit anderem Wlan funktioniert es reibungslos. Komisch

Yes, I downloaded this software. However, you can also use Indesign offline, right? So at home my Indesign doesn't work at all and at the university it works perfectly at my workplace. But is it because of the WiFi, which doesn't make sense?

-Are you using the latest InDesign 2024 update?

-Do you have the same problem with InDesign 2025? You can install it from the Creative Cloud app, just make sure to uncheck the option to remove older versions in order to preserve your 2024 installation.

-Also, try to create a clean new user account in System Settings > Users & Groups and work from there. Will it make a difference?

No I mean 19.0. But I downloaded now the Indesign V.20.0. The Version 19.0 and 20.0 are still not working at my home, but when I'm working in other places it works without freezing and without permanently loading. Is it because of the internetconnection? Is there an setting option in Indesign? Normally you can use Indesign also offline.

Thanks for sharing the details. It seems like the issue could be related to your internet connection at home. Let's isolate it further:

  1. Try launching InDesign offline at home by disconnecting from the internet completely and see if it makes a difference.

  2. Test InDesign in Safe Mode to rule out any third-party interference:

  3. Sometimes, ISPs make certain network configurations that can interfere with application connectivity. If InDesign works fine at other locations, your home network might be a contributing factor.
