I'm trying to download InDesign but it says I have to update my sistem.

I'm running a Windows 11 Version 23H2, and the website says the latest version of InDesign requires Windows 11 Versions 21H2 or 22H2. Is that the issue?
All other requirements are being met.

I had the same problem. The solution in my case was not to download with Opera but with Edge. No problem there.

What are the rest of the system specs? I've had no issue with 23H2 here and now running 24H2. You're not using S Mode are you?

Something else is going on. Do you have full admin rights? Any 3rd party anti virus or malware applications?

I'm experiencing the same issue as Marcela(My Post https://community.adobe.com/t5/indesign-discussions/indesign-quot-does-not-work-quot-with-my-device/...).

Is there any other input on this situation if I don't have any 3rd party anti virus/malware apps and I have full admin rights? I've also recently noticed almost every Adobe app gives me this same error. I'm using a free trial as well if this makes any difference (I have used these apps on the same system around a year or so ago, I'm using a free trial to export my .indd files as PDFs). Thank you.

Hi @Justin3789554435rx and @Marcela2210096887ln,

Thank you for reaching out and sharing the details of your issue. Could you please confirm if you are running a preview insider build of Windows or a generic public build? Sometimes, the preview builds can cause compatibility issues.

Additionally, could you try rolling back to a previous version of Windows to see if that resolves the problem? Here’s how you can do that: https://adobe.ly/4aWmEAV

This might help determine if the issue is related to the latest Windows update.

Let us know if these steps help or if you need further assistance. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to resolve this issue.

Best regards,
Anshul Saini

Hello! I've been trying to download Adobe InDesign, but it tells me my device is incompatible. I've looked at the requirements and I definitely meet and exceed the hardware requirements (AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 8-Core, 16GB of ram) my Windows is completely up to date (22H2 x64), internet has no problems, I use a 1440p display and I have plenty of storage available on my device. Not to mention I have used InDesign and other programs on the same hardware I use currently around a year ago. I have also tried to download InDesign on my partner's computer which has simillar specs to mine (meets requirements for InDesign) and it said that device was also incompatible, so I'm not really sure why this is happening. Any help would be appreicated thanks!

All I know is that there's another post with seemingly a similar issue posted just yesterday:

I don`t know why but Opera browser has difficulties downloading Adobe InDesign. Just use Edge browser to download it and it works. You get the latest version and it installs without problems.
