Indesign keeps crashing & freezing

Both today & yesterday Indesign has been crashing for me. It doesn't help creating a new document as that one keeps freezing too and I know it's not my computer causing it as I checked the utility disk. I really hope this bug is fixed soon because I need Indesign for work.

Another possibility is a bad font, or missing system font.

It is happening to me. I had on font installed and after the crash, it won't start at all. Took the font out of the computer, and reinstalled Indesign a lot of times and it won't open at all.

run the cleaner tool: Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner tool to solve installation problems then install without importing previous preferences and see if that works.

The latest version and even tried uninstalling/reinstalling Indesign, and it still isn't working properly.

There is a "nuclear option" :

 

Reset with the nuclear option (4)

If that does not help either, uninstall the application using the CC Cleaner tool and reinstall from the Creative Cloud Desktop app.
