Indesign paragraph panel keeps going blank

As shown in the attached screen shot, the paragraph tool panel keeps going blank, so I am unable to use it. I recently uninstalled and then reinstalled Indesign, and this cured the problem. But today, the panel has gone blank again. There must be a bug somewhere. Anybody else experience this? It's really annoying....

Worked for me too -- helpful because he shows how to find and delete the cache folder.
