Indesign pdf

Hi, When I create a pdf file indesign, and it comes up in acrobat. Some of the images are completely striped and unrecognizable.

we need more information on this.

Your exact InDesign version, operating system, what kind of images ( psd, tiff, jpeg etc. )

What is your PDF export preset?

Also some hardware details perhaps: RAM, used GPU, processor.
