Anyone else having issue with InDesign review links not working today? I have sent out a few and reviewers are getting this message. Other programs seem to be working fine.

There is another thread about this specific issue:

Hello @Louise32609256ivwm,

Could you try clearing your browser cache and then reloading the link to see if it helps?

Note: Clearing your browser cache may remove saved settings and require re-login on some sites.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

@Anubhav M the major issue today is the link tool bar not working in the share review, please see the thread above.

@Anubhav M the 404 Error is gone, but the links from all comments attached to text changes are missing and also the tools for highlighting, deleting and replacing tex are missing:

I see the page navigation part has moved to the center bottom of the document and is changed to a dark bar, so I guess all these problems have to do with an update which has gone wrong and is still not working the way it should. Please fully fix it or go back to the way it was if that is not possible within a few hours.

@Anubhav M , I just cleared my cache and the result is still the same - all of the good tools are gone; only the crap tools are left:

Here's what it's supposed to look like:

And the highlights and strikethroughs that were in the document before are all gone.

Please help!

Not ideal, but I've been able to see the highlights and strikethroughs that were already in the document before this error happened by using the Review window (Window > Comments > Review) in the InDesign file where I created the Share for Review link.

Hello,

I’m experiencing a persistent issue with Share for Review in InDesign.

Environment:

  • InDesign 20.5

  • macOS 15.7.1 (24G231)

  • Correct Adobe ID (verified – I only use one account)

Problem:

  • All my review links are visible under Adobe Home → Review links.

  • Thumbnails and metadata appear correctly. in Acrobat online

  • But when I click the links, many return the error:

    Error 404: Asset not found
  • This is for all my links - also for ones that used to work.

Troubleshooting already done:

  • Logged out/in of Creative Cloud and browser.

  • Updated to the latest InDesign (20.5).
  • Tried “Update link” in InDesign.

  • Created new review links (new ones sometimes work, but older ones remain broken).

  • Confirmed correct Adobe ID in both InDesign and web browser.

I suspect this is due to the latest update of Creative Cloud...

Kind regards.

Someone from Adobe should be getting on this. Im seeing this all over the place from varying designers I know now. Its not a good look with clients this going down so badly.
