Hello! I should layout a manual. It is a board game where there are boxes with examples, explanation text, captions. The texts are all ready in Pages. Is there a way to connect Pages texts to InDesign and make the text corrections on Word also update on the indd file?
Thank you

InDesign cannot import Pages text. You should be able to export a Word-formatted file in Pages which InDesign may be able to read.

No and no.
But you can export the Pages to PDF, and then open the PDF in the "BETA InDesign 19.4" in order to convert to a new ID file. This might not work wonderfully well. Word docs can link to ID but it is a one-way street going in. Also, you would have to take care to use paragraph and character style names in Word and ID that are identically-named. Further still, the Word paragraph styles should be independent styles; not styles based on Normal. Nor should ID styles ever be based on Basic Paragraph Styles. If you need 2-way text editing, you would adopt the use of InCopy for the linked text (instead of Word).
Another brand-new feature is the fact that ID docs can be stored in the Adobe cloud and other editors could open and edit the text in the layout. I have not used this new feature yet!

That beta feature currently only supports PDF created with InDesign...

In case I could also move the document to a google docs. The important thing is that the two programs start, updating the Docs corrections on indesign
