PDF's appear upside down when placed into InDesign. Help!

Hello,

Whenever I try to place a PDF image (file>place) into InDesign it is inverting & reversing the image. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I think what you are experiencing is a known bug that has been fixed in the latest release of InDesign 2019 (version 14.0.2)

This must be it. Many thanks, Michael, for this key bit of information! The fact that I'm now running ID CC 2019 (v14.0.2) must explain why the test file I downloaded worked without incident.

As I previously reported, I also experienced this same problem a few months ago before updating ID to the current version, which fixes this issue.

Does this only happen with this image? I had a similar problem with a PDF recently. The document looked correct when viewed in Acrobat, but when placed in InDesign the image rotated 90º. After spending a little time trying to figure out the reason, I gave up and just fixed the problem afterward. Sorry I'm of no help here. Will watch this thread to see if someone comes up with a good answer.
