Hi.. I am wondering if it is possible to make a rule or something to have the same space between  pictures/frames?

I am working on a catalogue, and need to have the same space between all items ( 2,5mm ) . is there a way i can mark all frames/whole page and do this? I tried one ( to align) way, buth there are too many layers  so everything just spread out

Thanks, Jeff_Coatsworth. The first thing I though when I saw the screen shot was this should be done in InDesign.

Amanda—the first thing I would do is set up a row grid with Layout > Create Guides to divide the page into the correct number of rows, and specify a gutter.

The images are all distinctly different widths. The free-form technique would be to rely on Smart Guides, which will light up when you one match one gutter with another.

The more methodical approach is to use Layout > Margins and Columns to create a multi-column vertical grid, and snap the images to the grid.

    Hi,

Or set up a Document grid? (preferences-Guides and grids)

You will get a graph paper kind of lines on your document page

You could use “Snap to document grid” option to make your graphic frames snap to nearest grid line. :this is a different method compared to using smart guides

Can you show a picture (or sketch) of your layout? The way I'm imagining it in my head (which may be completely wrong!) is to use object styles and paragraph tags to control the spacing.
