Some text disappears when exporting a pdf file

Did you check with Acrobat Pro if the text is really missing?

To do this turn on the Transparency Grid from the preferences.

The above screens are showing a bug with InDesign's Export to PDF (Print) or Export to PDF (Interactive) where after a "special" white space character in the text the fill of the following text turns to a different color. This time the color is [Paper].

Could you please supply the exact version of InDesign and operating system that you are using? Also please indicate the steps you took in making the pdf including whether you embedded the fonts. Also with what pdf viewer are you viewing the pdf? If you have an alternative pdf viewer try opening the pdf on that and see if the text also disappears on that viewer.

Did you install the font as even the font is slightly different when exporting the pdf, check the layers also maybe there is an object that is hidden in the next layer.
