Symbol on text frame - 3 small circles

I've received a file that has these weird symbols on the text frame. I've never seen them before.

Anyone know what this is for. / means.

It is the animation symbol.

Hadn't thought of it being animation. The file was meant to be for printing.

The only way it could get there would be if someone applied an animation effect from the Animation panel:

Hi Martin,

FWIW: You can remove the animations of all selected objects.

Invoke the panel:

Window > Interactive > Animation

Use the trash can icon at the bottom right of the panel.
