I'm not sure what you're referring to but the proper method for installation is through the Creative Cloud desktop app.

What is happening? Is your computer able to run InDesign (presumedly the latest version)?
As @BobLevine mentioned, you should download and install the Creative Cloud app--don't bother downloading any other apps directly. Once you install the CC app and log in with your Adobe account, you can install InDesign through the CC app.
