Ever since the V10 update my email out of LR Classic has quit working, but instead returns the above error message.  I have reset the preferences, deleted and readded my email client to no avail.  Still does not work and from the forum, it looks like there are lots of nil value errors happening.

Updates to the Adobe Photography Products were released yesterday and include a fix for this issue. Please install the December update, restart your system and verify you are no longer experiencing the issue. Thank you for your assistance in reporting, providing additional information and, most of all, for your patience.

Same here - I tried uninstalling/reinstall and different gmail accounts - all the same.

This bug needs to be fixed as email export not working is seriously tedious

Huge problem for me--might force me to temporarily flee from LR.  Just amazing this major bug wasn't picked up.  Funny thing is I was on with Adobe support for well over an hour today--they tried everything--sad thing is  is they obviously were't even aware that it's a reported bug.

Having the exact same problem. Upgraded to LR Classic  10 and now can't export photos to my email address. Everything worked fine until I updated to the  latest version .

This really sucks.

It's a bug in the program.  Nothing will fix it until the engineers get out a new version.  Best thing is to revert back to the previous version that worked.

I do not think you can revert to older version once it updated to newer one, if you know how would appreciate knowing .

Thanks

Yes you can--Access in Creative Cloud--has a list of previous versions just install. Actually this is what they are suggesting over at Adobe.

Dont bother calling Adobe Technical help.  Did absolutely no good and even with a follow up today they just had me repeat things that in no way solve the problem

You would think Adobe  might want to jump on the forum and help out , instead they have David  troubleshooting for everyone for free. :-]

LR 10.0  dazzled on the main stage but a big  bust at home.

This is what happens with Monopoly.  In the past, Adobe thoroughly beta-tested releases but that ended.   Just hate to see people waste their time going through the elaborate charade I had to deal with over the last two days.   I will keep you guys posted as to what if anything I hear.

Lightroom Classic prepares a file for e-mail but then does not launch Apple Mail; the file just disappears. This was working perfectly before the latest upgrade of the software. For your information Photoshop 2021, when using 'share', performs this function without error. This is very frustrating as I am / was sharing files via e-mail on a daily basis.

When trying to e-mail a picture from Lightroom Classic the file is processed but then simply does not launch Apple Mail; the file just disappears. This was working perfectly until the latest upgrade. Incidentally, Photoshop 2021 when using 'share' performs this function without error.

Best thing to do is wait for the update/or revert to previous version until the update comes out.

my issue stated with the latest up date a few days ago.  When I launched following the update it said it needed to modify my catalog and since then I have had the email issue.
