Ever since the V10 update my email out of LR Classic has quit working, but instead returns the above error message.  I have reset the preferences, deleted and readded my email client to no avail.  Still does not work and from the forum, it looks like there are lots of nil value errors happening.

@Rick I have updated LR to 10.1.1 with Big Sur. Bug for email launch to Macmail still exists. Hopefully, new version will come out to fix the issue. I rely on this function all of the time. Thank you for your consideration. Tom Ramsay

I've been busy for the past few days and only opened up Lightroom today for the first time in maybe a week. I thought that I'd just confirm that the email function was still not working................you guessed it, it is now working and I have no idea what has changed. Thank you all for your help and suggestions over the past couple of weeks.

Try to use the app manager to generate a special password, good luck! JH

I just got a new Win 10 system and have a new LR installation. I cannot validate my email account, using previous password - cannot send photos in email. My old system died just when the email bug happened in v 10. Not sure what my issue is at this point, any help is appreciated...

Mine is working fine with the latest release. Because my settings and GMAIL settings were already programmed for it, it just started to work with no drama at all on the latest release. Kind of surprised me because Support had told me it was very low on the priority list.

Had to revert to previous version of Photoshop because Spot Healing Brush was glitching out after 3 spots on new version. Always something.

Yep, definitely worth a separate thread then, it'll get lost in this one.

Normally I would get an on screen message  "your email has been sent" I am not getting this message and the emails do not arrive.

Oh, one more silly question - how are you checking it doesn't actually send it?
