Greetings all,

A new update for Lightroom Classic has been released.  The May 14.3.1 update contains an update for this issue.

If you do not see the update in your Creative Cloud Application, you can refresh it by hitting [Ctrl/Cmd]+[Alt/Opt]+[ R ].

Note: It may take up to 24 hours for your update to be available in your Creative Cloud app.

Thank you for being so patient.

@Cyndi Bender: "I just started having this same issue."

Triple-check you're on LR 14.3.1. Do the menu command Help > System Info and look at the first line. If you're on an earlier version, do Help > Updates.

Thank you! I saw where it said to go back to an earlier version so I did that and it worked. I'll see if I need to update and it will hopefully fiix it.

Depuis peu, je vois apparaître  en rouge dans "développement" : "Le téléchargement de certains modèles Masquage a échoué. Veuillez réessayer ultérieurement". Ce message revient systématiquement même après extinction du programme.

@Sameer K

Hi Sameer, and my apologies for the very late reply.

I cannot find a way to upload the .txt file of my LRC system info.

I still have the error in 14.3.1. I have rolled back as far as 13, but nothing changes. Ironically, 13.1 works on my laptop, which is running Windows 10. The PC with 14.3.1 is Running Windows 11.

Starting as an administrator also didn't solve the problem.

The issue affects only the Objects, People, and Filter Presets.

I have also tried various other suggestions, such as downloading and replacing the Modelzoo folder, but nothing has resolved the problem. I am beginning to wonder if something on my machine is causing the problem.

Regards

Martin

1. In LR, do the menu command Help > System Info.

2. In the System Info window, click Copy, which copies the contents to the clipboard:

@johnrellis

Hi John, and thank you for the information.

I believe that I have resolved this issue now.

After uninstalling LRC, I manually deleted all Adobe LR & LRC files and folders on my C: drive (including in the AppData folder) and then ran a registry cleaner to remove anything left behind there too. I reinstalled LRC, and now I no longer have any preset errors or download error messages. Everything is working as it should.

My theory is that as I upgraded from 14.2 to 14.3, somewhere along the line, the files left behind from 14.2 messed up the installation of 14.3 and 14.3.1.

Hopefully, this information will be useful to others.

Regards

Martin.

Hi.

I have had this issue for a while now, but managed to resolve it on my PC yesterday.

I uninstalled LRC, then I manually deleted all leftover Adobe LR & LRC files and folders on my C: drive (including those in the AppData folder). I then ran a registry cleaner to remove anything left behind there, too.

I reinstalled LRC 14.3.1, and now I no longer have any preset errors or download error messages. Everything is working as it should.

My theory is that as I upgraded from 14.2 to 14.3, somewhere along the line, the files left behind from 14.2 messed up or corrupted the installation of 14.3 and 14.3.1.

Hope this helps.

Martin.
