Hi All! The team is investigating this. Please check if the file path for the original images includes a ( ' ), or any other special characters, and rename the folder. If the file path is, for example:

   Pictures\2025\August's Favorites\Sample Folder
Rename it to:

   Pictures\2025\Augusts Favorites\Sample Folder

Folders renamed outside of Lightroom Classic will still need to be relinked to Lightroom. You can right-click on the folder name & use Find Missing Folder, or follow the steps list

Hi all! The update to Lightroom Classic v14.5.1 is now available and includes a fix for this issue.

If you don’t see the update in your Creative Cloud app, refresh it using Ctrl/Cmd + Alt/Opt + R.

Note: It may take up to 24 hours for the update to show up.

Thanks for your patience.

Since upgrading to PS 26.10, using Command E on a Mac to open a Lightroom Classic edit into PS doesn't work. It only opens PS, not the file.

Also, when saving from PS, the images are not automatically being imported into LR.

Bug or settings I need to adjust? All apps are up to date.

@sameer

I am having the same problem in that Lightroom CC will no longer allow me to adit an image in Photoshop.

I am now running a Mac Mini M4 Pro with 48Gb memory. The operatiing system is Sequoia 15.6.1 and am running Photoshop 25 V26.10.0 and Lightroom Classic 14.5 Camera raw 17.5.

I. have uninstalled both several timeas and reinstalled and the problem is still there.

In lightroom CC my secondary editiong preference is Topaz AI and that loads perfectly.

I have seen in another thread that the team is asking for the file

  • Mac location: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Startup Scripts CC/Adobe Photoshop/photoshop_v2025.js

This file is not available on my setup as far as I can see so I am attaching a screen grab of what is available below

Screenshot 2025-08-26 at 10.25.39.png

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks

Hi, yesterday LRC & photoshop were working fine, exporting straight to PS & back, today, photoshop says i have no LR files!

I have read heaps of threads here, but none recent. I have tried all of the suggestions!

I have unistalled and reinstalled PS4 times, including dropping back to a different version.

I uninstalled both programs, then reinstalled photoshop as suggested (and thankfully got back my LH workstation and actions etc!) and then lightroom but its still not working. It opens Photoshop but the images does not migrate there.

I checked the registery and the path is correct.

this is driving me to distraction, I need it to just work!!!

please help!!

Same thing here, I restored a previous version of LR and can now continue working.
It's unacceptable that there are so many comments about this and ADOBE still hasn't provided a solution!

In Lightroom v.8.5.1, utlizing the Edit in Photoshop function does not complete. Photoshop v.26.10 will open, but not the selected image. Testing the functionality with previous versions have not been successful. Not having the abilty to use this adds uneccessary steps to import/export contantly, just to complete a few touchups that Lightroom is unable to do. The entire community needs a fix for this without losing all data and/or starting from the scratch.

Open Lightroom > select image > select Edit in Photoshop > Photoshop opens but the image does not. We should have the image open in Photoshop from Lightroom so we can do our additional edits, save, and have the image automatically update back in Lightroom.
