Bonjour

Depuis l'installation de la dernière version 15 de lightroom, il est impossible d'utiliser le mode connecter avec mon canon R5

Lightroom détécte un appareil photo mais n'arrive pas à l'identifier.

Pouvez vous régler ce BUG?

Merci

Hey, @fred31003809. Thanks for the post. I've merged your post to if this is broader issue with Canon Cameras: https://adobe.ly/47zLXJg

For @fred31003809, as correctly suggested by, @ExedyUSA, please update the macOS to the final release.

Please check this basic connection flow and check if it helps:

  1. Connect the Camera to Lightroom Classic in On state.
  2. Launch Tethering.
  3. While plugged in, switch the Camera Off and On.

Let us know how it goes. Thanks!

Adding bug number.

Note: @Sameer K 's workaround instructions in the pinned post work for me in restoring Tether Functionality.

Anyone else?

It's completely random when connecting my Canon R5 to my Macbook pro (M2) running latest Sequoia.

Just sitting there 'detecting camera' when i ask it to tether. I take the cable out, i put the cable back in, still nothing. I then cancel and then retry tethering in Lightroom and it then might connect eventually.

Not sure if anyone has used Capture One btw?! Bloody connects instantly each and everytime.

And this has always been the case with Lightroom and my previous Canon DSLRs too. Random connection issue, like the software doesn't know whether to connect or maybve try and read the pics from the SD card or what?

Anyways, i've wasted probably 20 minutes so far shooting this morning waiting for it to connect. Camera goes to sleep, wake it up, connnection issue. Do the 'dance' again, take cables out, connect back blah blah...

I can't be the only one...
