Hi, I just exported a bunch of jpgs and PSDs no problem.

SO have you tried the solutions that have worked for others? I am retyping them here:

Ensure there are no stale preferences in Lightroom. Reset Lightroom Classic's preferences by following the steps in this article (I prefer using method 2): https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/help/setting-preferences-lightroom.html

If the issue exists, please go to the following location & back up your Watermark presets.

Lightroom 12.0.1 was released today and contains a fix for this issue. Please refresh your Adobe Creative Cloud App ([Ctrl/Cmd]+[Alt/Opt]+[ R ]) and download the updated version.

Thank you for your patience.

I'm grateful for all the advice on this thread. However, the approach that worked best for me was to uninstall this version of LC and revert back to one that could actually accomplish a basic, simple task without wasting time and energy. Adobe, please: if something works, just leave it alone.

Here's the way I fixed the issue:

In the export panel check the watermark selection > select "edit watermarks" in the dropdown > choose (dropdown arrow) > click on one of your existing watermarks or choose an image for your watermark, select done.

Then you can uncheck the watermark selection in the export panel and it should now work normally.

The updates are outstanding and absolutely worth the minor inconvenience it takes to fix the problem until Adobe corrects it. They can't possibly ensure it will work flawlessly on thousands of different computer configurations. They will work on fixing the issue that some people have. Wait if you want, or take a few steps to fix it on your end.

I receive the following message when I try to export a photo from LrC, latest update from my Macbook with the latest OS system.  I have not expoerienced this problem before and did not change any settings.  I did not choose any use of watermarks when exporting, yet I receive the message.  Don't know why - please help!

I found a quick solve today when I had this problem in LR Classic. I went ahead and made a watermark that was 0% opacity and text. Then on export, I turned on the watermark and selected the one I created. It exported fine. Then I turned it off and it exported fine with no error code. Hopefully this helps!

Found this video on a temporary bug fix - after you do it make sure you select the new watermark when exporting

Create a new EMPTY Watersign and use it... it will work then.

The problem will be solved in the next update

This did not have any affect on the problem. No watermark is being applied to render this error

One work around I found was to edit my images, save their metadata, import them into Photoshop's ACR and export from there. I will try the 0% watermark workaround as well

Bonjour,

Yes, just delete your watermark(s) in the preferences like Sameer instructs, close LC, restart it, try exporting again...worked for me!

Bonjour,
billet. Bonne continuation.
