All of a sudden I have images appearing in two places

I have two directories for my JPEGS, one for full res and one for web  sized. all of a sudden all the images in the web sized folder are showing in the Full res folder. This is only in lightroom everything on the physical hard drive is correct.

 

I don;t understand how this happened, but when I delete the file from the full Res Folder it also deletes from the web sized folder.

 

This has happened to my whole lightroom catalog 

 

Anyone have any ideas how to resolve? or even why it has happened?

    It sounds like you have checked the option "Show Photos in Subfolders".

    It sounds like you have checked the option "Show Photos in Subfolders".

      Also when I know export a file it appears on the Hard drive but does not show up in the catalog
