Can't repair corrupt Lightroom catalog

My main Lightroom catalog is corrupt. I have tried repairing it, but it fails every time. I have tried restoring from a backup, but that hasn't helped. Could someone from Adobe take a look at my catalog and attempt to repair?

The images for that wedding are on your hard drive someplace. As a last resort, if the catalog can't be repaired, is to start a new catalog or open a recent backup of your original catalog, import those images and re-edit them.

One note though. LR catalogs do NOT become corrupted for no reason. It is a hardware problem that causes it.

Hello, I am also facing the same issue.

After I started my computer new and wanted to go for a normal edit session the catalog didn't open and the message:

"Lightroom encountered problems reading or writing from disk when attempting to repair"

I tried repairing multiple times.  I made sure there is disk-space left too.

another catalog could be opened. The backups are some hundred photos ago.

Same problem with my LIghtroom classic catalog.

When I boot it, I get the message:

Lightroom catalog is corrupt and cannot be used until it is repaired.

When I click repair, it says that it has problems reading or writing from disk.

I uninstalled and reinstalled it, but that didn't help.

My computer shows 8.78GB memory.

I saw you sent private messages to others with this problem. Please help me deal with it.

I am having the same problem. I have a catalog I created last night. It worked great. Today it says it is corrupt and needs to repair, but the repair fails. Since it is a new catalog there is no backup. I worked on it for many hours and client is waiting. Please help!

4 years later (sorry, folks).  LRclassic does not make a repair, or does it respond in any way.  I built a new catalog, and it worked, BUT then LRC corrupted it.  Windows 10/64.  Sept. 29, 2023
