Cannot open lightroom

New Here ,

If I try to open Lightroom, this pops up and stays on my computer but nothing ever happens afterwards: https://gyazo.com/ff05aa919cadcd047aeb62e3da8db731

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and same thing happens. This has been multiple days now and I even left my computer on for 36 straight hours in case it was actually loading something.

Can anyone please help me?  I have no idea what to do

So I restarted and did it again except I cancelled the upload and it worked so I'm able to access but I'm missing all the folders that I made in August now.  I checked on my hard drive and they are not in there either!  Any other places I could look, this is pretty devastating

@joell44929770 try posting your issue on the Lightroom Classic or the Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based) forum, whichever is applicable to you.

It seems your catalog has a fault. Try to open LR with an new catalog. Press and hold the Alt key (Option key on a Mac), then launch Lightroom. Keep the Option key pressed until a dialog appears with the option to create a new catalog.

You can also try to restore a catalog from one of your backups.

Im curious as to why this is a .zip file. search your computer for the V.12.lrcat file and double click to open lightroom with that catalog. Or find this zip file and decompress it and load the .lrcat file contain in it. A zip file is usually a compressed backup file
