Canon R5 and Adobe Lightroom Classic Tethered Shooting-Color temperature does not change

Hello,

I am running Mac OS Ventura 13.5 and Adobe Lightroom Classic. When shooting tethered, changing the color custom color temperature in Lightroom does not change the color temperature in the camera. Only after quitting LR, detacheing the tether, changing color temperature in the camera. Then recommecting. It's the only way to adjust it. In addition, the color is quite a bit off (pink/magenta) in the raw files. I am shooting in the studio with Profoto D2 strobes. So the light is onsistent. When I tether with Capture One (gasp) there are no issues. It appears some communication between the camera and LR is not happening. Please help.

I cannot replicate this.

Can you provide Step-by-step instructions for exactly what you do and what you are seeing?

Hi Rikk.

Thanks for gettinhg back to me. I tether the Canon R5 as described. It's functional and I can take photos. If I change the color balance from the camera (select the Kelvin temp such as 6000K) and lightroom does not change to 6000. It does not recognize the color change from the camera. If I change the color temperature in LRC, the numbers change, but the color does not. I could put it to 9000K, take a photo, and the color will not change.

As far as color, the strobe are daylight (6100K). The color temps set in the camera is 6100K. But this is the color I get. The last image I think I did a color balance with the eyedropper.

I've tested again today:

If I change the WB on Camera, Lightroom updates the value in the Tether Bar, and the image on Live View changes accordingly.

If I change the WB in the Tether Bar, the Camera updates accordingly, and LIve View updates to match.

In both instances, the capture is correct both in appearance and in the value of the WB in the Basic panel.

Mac 13.5.2
LrC 13.0.1
Canon R5 Firmware: 1.8.1

Am I missing something?
