I am so SAD! I have bought a new Macbook M4 Max
However, Lightroom CC lastest version, cant EXPORT slideshows as videos!
the progress bar is stopped at nearly 10% position.
No matter if I wait several hours it won't move any progress = I Cant export slideshow as Video
I always used this function, for a few years, day by days
I uninstalled the LR and tried reinstalling it, but it still failed.
Does anybody have the same issue?
I wonder if it is a problem related to M4 chips. Please kindly help and fix please!

Hi, we're sorry about the trouble with Lightroom Classic!
Please go to the Help menu in Lightroom Classic, then System info, and copy the text. You can either paste it here as a reply or save it as a text file and share it with us.
Where are the images stored? Are they on an external drive or your computer's local storage?
You can try to reset the preferences of Lightroom using the steps mentioned here: https://adobe.ly/2JSym5e
Thanks,
Nikunj

It's been more than a year!!! They charge me more, yet still don't fix major bugs.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue?
Is there a work-a-round that I can try to successfully complete this task?
Thanks,
Andrew

There was an API update to the Slideshow module late last year or early this year, which may explain why it worked for you in 2024.
Have you tried exporting the slideshow to video with the music disabled?
Are you combining still photos and videos into a single slideshow?
Have you tried resetting the LrC preferences? If not, then try Methos 1 as set out in https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/help/reset-preferences.html
Can you provide any information on how others can try to reproduce the issue. For example, no mention of how many photos are in slideshow, the template used, the settings used in the Playback panel, etc.

Thanks for your reply Ian.
Is there any way of identifying the API version/build that I am currently using?
"Have you tried exporting the slideshow to video with the music disabled?"
"Are you combining still photos and videos into a single slideshow?"
"Have you tried resetting the LrC preferences?"
"Can you provide any information on how others can try to reproduce the issue. For example, no mention of how many photos are in the slideshow, the template used, the settings used in the playback panel, etc."
Does this provide sufficient information for others to try to reproduce the issue?
Thanks.

I am having the same issue. I have tried all the published workarounds, including uninstalling and reinstalling, resetting cache, disabling graphics processor, and exporting JPEGs only to a new Cat.???
MacBook Pro M3 Max, Sequoia 15.5, LRC 14.3.1, 342 GB available of 1TB.
HELP, urgent work project.

I am having very similar issues with a similar setup (MacBook Pro with current versions of all software). Shorter tests work fine but bigger slideshows cause LR to choke and hang. Also making the Finder have issues where I'm getting beachballs.

Having the very same issue. Tried lots of stuff. MacBook Pro M4Pro 48GB memory. Super dissapointed. This should have been easy, and not a time sync.

Just updated to Lightroom Classic v 15.0 and the updates mentioned upgrading the enhanced capability to export Slideshows in 4K. Optimistically I tried exporting my slideshow, but alas, the same result - a hung process which fails to complete after more than 12 hours. Very disappointed.
Still waiting for a solution to the problem introduced by a software upgrade 12 months ago.
