How to Move Lightroom mobile catalog from iPad pro over to MacBook for working in Lightroom Classic
I've edited a batch of photos on my ipad pro and exported and already given to a client. Now that I've finished, I would like to archive that 'catalog' of edits to my external drive so that it isn't taking up so much space in my stream of photos on ipad lightroom.
Is there a way to convert that catalog over to the classic lr on my laptop? I'f idealistcally like to preserve the edits so that I can resend in the future if needed.
If someone could give me advice on workflow soultions or any tips for editing it would be much appreciated!
I've mostly used lightroom classic on my macbook pro but after getting an Ipad pro last year with a pencil I figured I would be editing more in the mobile app and less on the computer. I love using the apple pencil to make selected edits and other graphic work but the mobile version of Lightroom is still somewhat lacking imo and doesn't give me much control when editing large quanties of photos. I would love if I could work interchangably with the two: macbook and ipad on a full version of lightroom but probably won't ever happen.
My issue is storage for photos on the ipad in general is a nightmare. It's just a single stream based on date and there's really no way around that. not intuative. Same way on the lightroom mobile just a single stream and no way to organize the images.
