I need help with presets on Lightroom Classic

 Can someone please explain why every time I select a preset to use on my photos on Lightroom Classic, that it can't apply to the photo? It just says, "Some masking models failed to download. Please try again later."

 

I posted the picture above.

 

I am using a Lenovo RYZEN 4000 series 7

First up, what is your LrC version, this was a problem at v13.0, and may or may not have been fixed at v13.0.1, And should definitely be gone by v13.3

 

Second up, the solution was to close LrC, then reopen LrC, and supposedly the incomplete download would continue and finish. Not sure how long that would take.

also still broken for me with LR 13.5. 

have tried the suggestions in the thread but still none of the presets work in LRC. i am signed in to my account, have restarted LRoom classic and i still get this error message: "some masking models failed to download. pease try again later."  only the B&W presets in the develop basic edit window work. none of the adobe presets will work without that error. it also gives me the same error message when i try to apply presets i have saved. this has been the situation for several months through several updates. currently on LR 13.5 on a mac running sonoma.

i predominantly use LRClassic but in non-classic reg Lightroom the presets all preview and work without the error message.

Time to give Adobe a chat. When you do, be assertive that you need an actual Adobe Tech to call.
