Lightroom Classic 12.0.1 update disables Edit In -> Photoshop related commands

The recent upgrade to Lightroom Classic 12.0.1 appears to have disabled all of the Photoshop-related items under the Edit In command, which are all now greyed out. Everything was working perfectly prior to Lr 12.0.1 installation. The problem occurred on my desktop computer (Dell XPS8950 running Windows 11 Pro), but did not occur on my laptop (Dell XPS13 9380 running Windows 10 Pro) after a similar upgrade path.

Does anyone have any thoughts for a fix?

Correct answer Tas_raw-shooter

Try uninstalling Ps 2023 then reinstall same.

Thanks Ian, that did the trick, much appreciated. Still a mystery as to why one of my computers was affected but not the other - the only significant software difference is Windows 11 Pro vs Windows 10 Pro.

Check that the image you have selected is available as the full size original, not just as a smart preview (or missing). You can't send a smart preview to Photoshop and obviously also not a 'missing' image.

Yes, it is the full size original, and the problem exists for multiple other original images I've tested.

Note, I'm also contributing to the following parallel thread started by someone else with the identical problem post-Lr 12.0.1 update:
