Question

Lightroom Classic Sync CC Sync stuck in "downloading" status

I have 4 images that won't sync from Creative Cloud, they jsut are stuck in "downloading" status. I have identified at least one of the images and found it in lightroom CC which states the original is synced to the cloud, and I can export the original out from lightroom CC.

Anyone have any idea what's going on here?

Hi there,

Sorry to hear about the sync issue with Lightroom, could you please let us know the version of Lightroom you're working on?

Could you please have a look at this conversation and let us know if it helps? https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-classic/lr-classic-sync-stuck-downloading/td-p/9796697

Regards,
Sahil

I was recently pushed updates today, so I'm on the latest public versions. For Lightroom Classic it's 9.1 build 201911291132-64cf80b4. For Lightroom CC it's 3.1 build 20191126-2330-434c343

The updates didn't fix the issue, that thread gave me some ideas and I was able to resolve it - I had to delete a few images out of my library from Lightroom CC. I exported them out first, and then reimported them after deleting them from the library and they synced fine.

The only unique thing about the images was they are JPG's and JPG's wrapped in a DNG envelope (from an earlier version of lightroom) that had virtual copies made of them. I'm guess it's a bug.
