Lightroom seemingly stuck syncing 1 photo with Lightroom mobile

On my desktop Lightroom CC app, there is a message sating that Lightroom is Syncing 1 Photo.  The problem is that it has been displaying that message for weeks.  Stopping/Restarting the app makes no difference and when I look at that Lightroom Mobile and Creative Cloud apps on my iPhone they do not think that there are any photos left to be synced.  Any advice on how to clear this error?

When you open up within the Lr Mobile up this little could status indicator at the top app bar ...what kind of status is there listed?

In addition please send me a LR Desktop diagnostig log  - best as a private message with a downloadable dropbox link.

You can trigger the log via LR Desktop preferences -> Lightroom Mobile and when you hold down the alt key you will notice a generate diagnostic log button

I have the same desktop message "syncing 1 photo" (which one?? can't identify it) after replacing my S5 Neo for a new S10e (and installing again Lightroom mobile in this one)... but syncing is not stuck, it keeps adding new photos to "All Synced Photographs" collection.

This thread seems to have passed through the years - was it ever resolved?? I'm using Mac on all devices - the sync is stuck on CLASSIC, I've got the same screen shot as the user above - 'sync pending'. Can you tell me why Adobe during these years Adobe hasn't resolved this issue by maybe sticking in a button we press! or is that too easy on the users? I am getting sick and tired of Adobe issues (and I've loved Adobe) I've got your suite of goodies everywhere and I take the time to learn them and use them in my work!!! But once again another issue comes to stop the so-called easy flow of work between the apps we are supposed to do be able to do. These apps are supposed to help us not hinder us. I'm sick of Google searches, FAQ files, YouTube videos trying to find stuff out - fix it! I've got work to do, even more now Adobe has decided to stop work on MUSE, nice one - thanks! I want a button!!

I'm usually a really sweet person with patience, Adobe has tested it, not just in this app.

How is this question set as answered? The selected reply is not near a solution. What is Adobe's criteria to set a query answered?
This IMPO this synchronization feature is being push to hard by Adobe to make it work. Gulp users, if you feel sick ... gulp a little bit more.

Hi,

I would also need some help with this issue. My LR CC Classic is also stuck syncing with the message "Syncing 1 photo".

I already had a session with somebody from Adobe support, but they could not solve it.

The Sync Activity in Preferences is empty (0 Uploading, 0 Downloading, 0 Pending).

Library, Find All Missing Photos does not show any missing photos.

There are no synced photos with an unknown or unset type, they are all JPG, PSD, RAW or TIFF, and for all of these types there are much more than 1 photo.

In LR Mobile on the iPad, the status shows "All synced and backed up".

I triggered the Rebuild Sync Data process, but the issue still persists.

Any advise/help is appreciated!

Regards, Robert

Got this resolved with the help of Adobe Support.

The steps that helped were:

  • Create a new Windows user account
  • Launch LR there with the affected catalogue
  • LR did some kind of resync
  • After that the issue was also gone when I opened the catalogue with my normal Windows user account

I have wasted over 15 hours on this Lightroom bug and still can't solve the problem.  It is very frustrating that resolution only appears to be via Private Message and hence of no help to users experiencing similar problems.  After extensive diagnostics I still can't find the file causing the problem.  Lightroom still shows Syncing 1 photo in blue text on the main page, but there is no activity listed on the Lightroom Mobile preferences page.  Has anybody had this version of the syncing bug and been able to resolve it successfully?  Thanks.

When you open up the Lightroom Preferences->Lightroom Mobile panel...is there an entry listed under the pending sync activity window? - Guido

I am having a similar issue - the photo that is stuck is not "findable" in my desktop catalog or on my mobile device.  The only location I can find it is on the LR website where the link in the Asset Path takes me when I click on it. The file is empty by the way.

How do I delete it the file on the LR website?

Hi - I have the same problem.  I've removed all the photos that were being synced, both ways.  First deleting them via my desktop and then deleting them via my mobile device.  There is nothing in the Pending Sync Activity window.

After many hours faffing about with this I seem to have finally solved the problem.  I manually reconciled every image on the website to match the images on my desktop, I found one that I had previously removed from the desktop which was still on the website so I removed it.  I then removed all the images on the website and started again, syncing the images I wanted on LR mobile, one folder at a time.

Everything is fine now.

I just started having this problem. 1 file. Doesn't show up in All Synced Photographs. Clicking the blue link takes me to an empty page that just says the file hasn't been synced. From LR, the file can be revealed in the Finder, so it's really there and LR knows where it is.

Finally figured out what it was... there was a missing photo.  Once I removed that photo from the catalogue syncing went perfectly.. no more hanging on syncing one file
