LR Classic Camera Raw?

I have the Lightroom Classic and Photoshop subscription on my computer. Do both programs share the same version of Adobe Camera Raw or do they each use their own? When I go to "about plug-ins" in each program it shows an ACR version for Photoshop, but nothing shows for Lightroom Classic. When I edit a Canon raw file in LR it allows me to do so but the screen looks different than when editing a raw file in Photoshop. Can someone clarify? Thanks.

In LrC, click on Help, click on About Lightroom Classic:

As seen in above image, I have Camera RAW v 14.4.1

As for PS:

I have v 14.4.1.1122 (fairly sure the 1122 bit is not an issue)

P.S. if you bring up Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App, and mouse hover over Camera RAW, you can also see that it is v 14.4.1 (in my case):

That Camera RAW is the plug-ion used by PS, not the Camera RAW within LrC.

The Camera RAW within LrC, and the Camera RAW used by PS should be the same version (14.4.1) . Difficultys or at least annoyances can occur if not.

When you say "the screen looks different," do you mean your photo looks different? Or do you mean the User Interface is different? Photoshop uses the Camera Raw plugin to provide the user interface for the camera raw engine, while Lightroom Classic's core interface is built around camera raw within the Develop Module. The plugin has changed over time to be much more similar to Lightroom's interface, especially with the onscreen location of the controls, but the two will never be exactly the same (from an interface perspective).

Just an idea: Do you use the same color profile in LR and PS. Do you have checked your monitor profile?

No. I meant the screen detail itself - not the color values. In Photoshop when editing a RAW file I get a different screen than when editing a jpg. In Lightroom I get the same screen when editing RAW or jpg.

That is normal. Photoshop does not normally use Camera Raw to edit a jpeg. Lightroom Classic uses the same module for any type of image however.

To keep their raw engines in sync, Adobe releases simultaneous updates to Lightroom Classic and Camera Raw. The important thing to understand about that is although the latest versions of both use the same version of Camera Raw code, updating Camera Raw doesn’t automatically update Lightroom Classic. That’s because the Camera Raw code in Lightroom Classic is fully embedded (its own copy not linked to the Camera Raw plug-in), so you do have to apply the updates to both Lightroom Classic and Camera Raw to keep them in sync.

The chance of seeing differences due to the difference in Camera Raw versions between Lightroom Classic and ACR is practically zero. That could only happen with major version mismatches, like one using Camera Raw 13 and the other one Camera Raw 14, not with differences like 14.3 versus 14.4.

If you do see a difference between a raw photo opened in Lightroom and the same photo opened in ACR (and before doing any editing yourself), then most likely one of the two has applied a camera profile that the other did not apply, or some other camera default setting.

Lightroom Classic has the (same) routines built-in, it does not use the ACR plugin. If you see differences, then start by checking the camera profile. Lightroom Classic has a camera default setting that may be different.
