Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Classic: Version 202312111226-41a494e8

Desde el mes de Mayo de 2023, Lightroom no me guarda los metadatos en los archivos XMP de forma automática, incluso a pesar de que tengo esa opción activada en la configuración del Catálogo.
Estoy investigando si esto ocurrió después de alguna de las actualizaciones.
Pero me produce muchos problemas.
Porque me está generando jerarquías de palabras clave que yo ya he cambiado hace tiempo, y muchas fotos que yo ya las cambié de palabra clave, ahora se me vuelven a crear palabras duplicadas y triplicadas... y es un verdadero CAOS.
No entiendo cómo es posible que ocurra eso.
Si genero un catálogo nuevo, desde cero, eso no ocurre.
Pero con el catálgo que he tenido desde siempre con toda mi colección de fotos, no me actualiza los metadatos.
He probado optimizando el catálogo... y nada.
No sirve de nada.

Hey, @KS-FOTO_Carles. I'll need more info to help you figure this out.

Where do you store the original images & the catalog? Internal or an external drive? Have you tried to manually write changes to XMP?

Try right-clicking on an image > Metadata > Save to File & check if this helps.

You've already tried this with a new catalog & that works. In the new catalog, head to File> Import from Another Catalog, as shown below.

Proceed with merging the old catalog into the newly made, internal storage-based catalog.

Yo siempre almaceno las imagenes en discos internos, conectados directamente a placa base por conexión SATA III
Sí, he realizado la operación que usted comenta, manualmente.
Pero sólamente me cambia los metadatos de las fotos seleccionadas.
Cuando yo importo nuevas fotos al catálogo, el programa no genera archivos xmp para las fotos recien importadas. Es un verdadero problema.

Intenté hacer lo que usted dice.
Generar un nuevo catálogo, e importar las imágenes desde el catálogo antiguo. Pero entonces me generó varios duplicados y triplicados de las copias virtuales de todas y cada una de las imágenes.
Yo desactivé expresamente esa opción al importar las imágenes.
Pero Lightroom ha creado las copias virtuales sin obedecer mis instrucciones.
Mi archivo fotográfico se compone de más de 1 millon de imágenes.

También existe un problema grave con las palabras clave.
Yo ya modifiqué las palabras clave en mi catálogo.
Pero si éstos cambios no se actualizan en los archivos XMP de mis imágenes, cuando genero un nuevo catálogo y vuelvo a importar los archivos, entonces en el nuevo catálogo las palabras clave estarán erróneas, porque tomarán las palabras clave de unos archivos xmp que no están actualizados.
Y tampoco se conservarán los datos de revelado de las múltiples copias virtuales de todo mi archivo fotográfico.
