Lightroom Classic versjon: 14.4
Operativsystem: Mac OS 15
As of this new version I am not able to denoise a batch of photos, only individual ones. Can't find any guidance as to how this can be fixed. Hope you can help me, thanks.
Select the images to be Denoised, enable Auto Sync, then click on the Denoise checkbox. You can use the slider below the Denoise checkbox to fine tune the amount of noise reduction applied to all or individual images in real time.
In Lightroom Classic, there are 5 ways Batch editing can be realized.
In Lightroom Desktop, your 2 options are:
Lightroom Desktop does not have Sync, Auto-Sync, or Previous.
For more information, please refer to this video by @brianmatiash, in which he demonstrates these options and provides additional context.

One more note, I've seen in other posts that there may be a way to cut and paste the denoise setting across multiple images (by selecting them and clicking paste)... but that does not appear to apply the denoise setting. I need to open each file individually and click the denoise check mark? That takes 1 min per file, and the application is locked on the process bar while it processes! This is a crazy downgrade! If I have 50 images for example (as I do right now), am I really meant to sit here for 50+ minutes, diligently clicking the box every minute or so? It's unuseable.

You are posting about Lightroom (LrD). This is a forum for Lightroom Classic (LrC).
If you are using LrD, you can copy Denoise and Paste to a selection. Although it applies Denoise again to the active photo, since it has already done it, LrD almost instantly moves on to do the other photos in the selection. It does this by doing an AI Update on each of the remaining photos in the selection. When it has finished, the AI Update Status icon is yellow, but this looks like a bug to me; click on one of the photos in the selection and the AI Update Status icon goes to normal.

There is a way but what a waste of time! Once you've done your copy and paste, and it's gone through for all pictures (which takes a century and seems to stop regularly if you move off the app), you can then select all the photos that have the yellow sign on them and go to Photo/Update AI settings in x photos - it works-ish but if anyone has something faster let me know because this essentially take 5 times longer and I have 7,000 pictures to denoise!

The issue is the AI settings update. I can do the denoise to a batch of photos but the AI update can only be done 1 at a time, even though it says update all it only does 1. This is a horrible wate of time. Though the pics are better it is taking a week for what I did in a day previous.

When I select multiple images and run Noise Reduction (AI), it only applies to the first image.
Noise Reduction is not available for multiple images.

Hola,

Good evening, I have exactly the same problem. I want to edit several photos at the same time and still manage to edit others simultaneously. Now I can only edit one at a time and it gets stuck in that tool. And when I try to synchronize with that function active in detail, it takes a long time and in the end it doesn't remove the noise.

Hi, now what I do is to remove the noise in one photo and then copy the edition in all photos.
Select photos - Reveal Adjusts - Copy Adjusts
It works for all photos but you can't edit meanwhile is reducing noise.
Hope it helps

Those options are not good enough for Lightroom Desktop. Batch enhancing needs to be brought back as an option. Please convey this to the appropriate people. Why are they making our lives harder and saying it is an improvement?

How can I apply Denoise to a group of images?
When processing many high ISO frames, it's better to automatically apply denoise to a batch of images, instead of waiting for the filter to be applied to each photo individually.
After the recent changes, how can this be done?

Select all images, turn on Auto Sync, then denoise the active image. Don't forget to turn off Auto Sync when you're done.

Many ways to do this. See https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-classic-discussions/p-how-do-i-batch-edit-denoise-after-the...

Anyone try Batch Denoise in lastest Version ?

Since the latest Lightroom Classic update (June 2025), I can no longer batch-denoise multiple selected images. When I select several photos and use the “Enhance” → “Denoise” function, only the first image is processed.
Lightroom starts denoising immediately without showing the usual settings dialog, and I have to manually start the process again for each additional image.
Previously, Lightroom would automatically apply the denoise process to all selected images, one after the other, using the settings I chose in the dialog. Now, this workflow is no longer possible, and it significantly slows down my editing process.
I have already:
Reset all warning dialogs in Preferences
Restarted Lightroom
Tried different combinations of image selections
The problem persists.
I chatted with Adobe Support, but they couldn’t help and asked me to submit a bug report here.
System Information:
Windows 11 (64-bit)
Laptop: Acer Aspire A315-44P
RAM: 16 GB
GPU: AMD Radeon™ with 8.2 GB memory
Please let me know if there is a fix or workaround. Thank you very much for your help!
Best regards, Claudia

To the team that decided to lock out use of LRC while batch denoise is running in this update... Idiotic decision.

This is my biggest issue and I wasn't sure if there was a work around. Before, I could edit other photos while a batch AI Denoise took place. Now I can't do jack squat while it takes 2.5 hours to denoise 100 photos. It's so inefficient.

@dj_paige those are ways to batch process using denoise... but it doesn't fix the fact that LR is unusable for any other purpose while it processes as called out by @Noelle32209367tsb6, amongst the other issues introduced in this update.
