Takes a long time moving between images

Since version 13, Lightroom is unusable. Many people have been complaining about this for a long time and I don't see any response from the developers on this subject.

I can no longer work properly because the software is so slow, whether in the library or moving from one photo to another is long.

Or in development or modifications are not done automatically. And the worst being the selective filter or the AI, you have to constantly restart the software.

I spent hours with the lvl 1 or 2 technician who modified my computer and made a mess of it. They all end up telling me that the problem comes from my configuration.

I am on w10 /32go ram/8go vram/ssd nvme/small catalog/dynamic overview.

My professional life is hell because of this and update after update this problem at the heart of the software is never addressed.

You add new features that no one asks for but basically your software has become unusable for many users and I see no message in this section about it and no response from your development team in general topics. So i try to post in bug section.

So my question is what are you waiting for to resolve this problem that is ruining the lives of many of your customers?

EDIT: I post this on bug section and now it's appear here ... So you know the problem but you ignore it ?

If you are using the game ready driver for your GPU, download and install the Studio driver instead.

Studio drivers are more thoroughly tested, are more stable and have fewer bugs than the game ready driver.

Do a clean install, and do not install Geforce Experience. It's for gaming.

Another thing you can try is to reset the LrC preferences.

Can you check that your Virus Checker, which includes Windows Defender, is not monitoring the LrC catalog or associated file (i.e. Preview.lrdata, Helper.lrdata and lrcat-dta). Ideally, the Camera Raw cache should also be excluded from monitoring.

It''s rare, but I've come across users who have lots of memory disabling Windows Virtual Memory. This should absolutely not be disabled.

The Bugs section has a clearly defined way thats post must be created as per the second pinned post in that section.

In order for it to be a bug report it needs clearly defined steps and as @Ian Lyons has suggested, a video showing it in action, with that System Info. Moderators will move posts from Bugs to Discussions if they don't have these defined, repeatable steps.

I understand that it's incredbly frustating that your image walkthough is slow, but it is an area where a lot of work has been done recently to improve image to image progress. By seeing your system info, we can start to make better suggestions.

Is this a laptop or a desktop computer?

Does it have an integrated GPU as well as a discrete one?

You can delete everything below Installed plugins.

FWIW, LrC version 13.5 runs fine on my two Windows 10 computers. It's a bit slow on the old one (5 yrs) with only 5 GB GPU RAM, but nothing like what you describe.

Hi, it's a desktop computer with a RTX4060 8go graphic card last drivers of course.

Same problem with my old ati 3go vram.

It's a core problem and adobe devellopement team dodge all the topic about people complaining of the lag.

It would be helpful if you would post your 'System Info'. You can make a copy of same directly from the dialog that opens when you click on Help > System Info.

A short video or two demonstrating the issues would also be useful.

I expect that you'll be asked for more information by others.
