Two things: I don't work for Adobe, I'm a Lightroom Classic user just like you. That means I have no obligation to give an answer to your reply on my first question. I can choose to answer if I think I have something useful to contribute, or I can choose not to.
Secondly, no I did not have 5 minutes to read that reply. I've been away for two days and I've not been in the forums in those two days.
And finally: you still did not give me the information I'm looking for. You say "If I place new im

thanks a lot for your attention :
It turns out that I have another new (un)function: My new folders with new images no longer synchronizable, maybe that's the origin of the problem... do you have a solution?"

What do you mean with 'no longer synchronizable'?

If I place new images in an existing folder, it’s impossible for me to “synchronize” them. The same goes if I create a new folder with new images.
The only thing I can do is drag these images from their location into the LRC desktop, and the dialog box that agrees to import them will—hold on tight—place them in another folder, always the same one.
Then I have to locate them, select them, and move them to the correct folder before deleting the ones I just placed there.
5 steps now where previously a simple sync did the trick…

What does (not) happen when you try? Do you get the first dialog that tells you how many new images there are, but does Lightroom not import them when you click on import? Do you not get that first dialog at all? Do you get the first dialog but Lightroom does not show any new images? All this matters when trying to find a cause.

Bonjour ! Voici la traduction en anglais de votre texte :English Translation
Hello,
I have a folder tree structure made up of folders classified by flowers (which is what I photograph).
When I have new images of the same flower, I have several options for importing them from my external drive.
But often the images will first be post-processed (retouched) and then, to import them into their corresponding folder, I drag them into it (a folder that is on an external hard drive).
And then I go back into LRC (Lightroom Classic) and activate the 'Synchronize Folder' function.
Before, this would import the images correctly.
Now, it only works if I restart my computer (even though it's brand new with a clean install).
But on top of that, when it does work, the images don't go into the requested folder; they always end up in another folder—always the same one—which was never used or requested for anything.
Thank you again for your patient attention.

When you get the first dialog after choosing 'Synchronize folder', enable the checkbox to show the import dialog. When the import dialog comes up, check that at the top center 'Add' is selected, not 'Move'.

"when it does work, the images don't go into the requested folder; they always end up in another folder"
After right-clicking the folder in the Folders panel and doing Synchronize, in the dialog that pops up, check the option Show Import Dialog Before Importing and then click Synchronize. When the Import screen opens, please post a full-resolution screenshot (not a phone pic) of the entire LR window.

Yes, but this it 's very complicated to show with an image capture.
Do you accept film screen?

A series of screenshots should do. Capture the entire screen for each dialog that you get.
