P: Can't create single image slideshow (yes there's a reason).

Sometimes I use slideshows to export jpgs with border, or with filename overlay, via option/alt-clicking on "export pdf" button so it becomes "export jpg." This works fine when I have two or more images selected, but when I have one photo selected and I export jpgs from slideshow, my entire filmstrip gets exported (even though "use: selected photos" is visible, and it says below that, "1 selected."

If I create a new collection with only one image, then I can export just the one, but it was suggested on the LR forum that this might be a bug. It would be helpful for me to have the ability to create single image slideshows without having to create a new collection.

Its easy to reproduce Rikk.

Have 12 photos in the filmstrip (can be any number greater than 1)
Change the "Use" to Selected Photos
Select only one photo.  The indicator on the toolbar next to Preview will say "Slide ? of 12"
Select 3 photos.  The indicator will say "Slide ? of 3".

This has been confirmed as as-designed behavior by the team.  Both the [Export to PDF] and the [Export to JPG] will export the entire slideshow regardless of the selection. This would fall to a feature request status.
