P: (Masking) Re-Order Masks List

When I have multiple Masks on an image, I cannot see a way of re-ordering those masks.

Example, if I had masks for Background, Sky, People, Eyes. The order of the masks seems to be fixed to the order you created them in. There doesn't appear to be a way of dragging or moving the masks into a more logical preferred order.

As I'm considering batch adding a whole set of masks to every single image. It would be great to be able to re-order the masks if wanted.

Unless I'm missing something.

You're not missing anything -- LR doesn't let you reorder the masks.

Being able to reorder masks would be a nice addition.

Example: I create an AI sky mask, apply some settings, then duplicate and invert this mask to work on the ground. In the mask list the sky is below and the ground at the top. Not intuitive at all...

You can rename the mask to something that you recognize

Bob, if you read the post that's not what's being asked. Yes, you can rename the masks, but you cannot re-arrange them.

It is possible to move one Correction to the top of the list by:

Copy the correction

Delete it

Paste it back (merging)

This works but it means multiple history steps for naught and must be done constantly...so tis horrible.

Corrections' order can also be changed by editing their order in the XMP via cut and paste, but I doubt anymore here wants to waste time doing that.

We should able to drag and drop Correction to sort them how we want NO history step added.

@John R Ellis can perhaps provide a way to sort masking by crs:CorrectionName
