P: Schedule Batch Tasks

I would like to suggest the option to schedule batch tasks in LRC. For example if I have several different sessions with different edits, some can take 20 minutes to batch. It would be nice to be able to set the first image of each session and set the task for LR to batch one after the other. Could be done at night and run for a few hours and not have to sit and wait for it to complete all day.

Are you referring to Export in particular?

No I mean when I edit one image  - select people, background, all the things. Then select all images from that session to batch. It takes a while for AI to register.

So by "batch" you mean Sync or copy/paste the Develop settings from the first photo to a large number of subsequent photos and then wait a long time for the AI settings to update. ("Batch" doesn't have a precise meaning in LR terminology, which is why I'm clarifying.)

A workaround is to use the Copy Settings plugin to copy all the settings instead of the built-in Sync or Copy/Paste, and then in Library, select all the photos in all the sessions and do Photo > Develop Settings > Update AI settings.  The Copy Settings plugin doesn't automatically update the AI settings.

Sorry if I was using the wrong verbiage. Wouldn't that still take a while to have the AI settings all copied? I am wanting to do 5 different batches and have them run one after the other without me having to wait for each one to finish then restart the next one and how it ties up my LR where I can't use it.

No, the Copy Settings copies AI masks very quickly but doesn't update their settings. When you're ready to walk away from your computer, select all the photos that you've copied to and do Update AI Settings.
