Moved from Canon to Fuji last year. Been using Lightroom for over 10 years now bit its awful for working with Fuji files - in particular, the worm-like effect on sharpening.

I have read and viewed lots about this - but do definite answer and i can't wait on Adobe addressing the issue through an update.

Does anyone else have any feedback / solutions - does anyone from Adobe read these posts?

gutted if i need to abandon lightroom

The worm like effect isn't an out of the camera phenomenon. It generally occurs when too much luminosity / clarity / sharpening has been done to an image. The images I've been working with are out of the camera require very little tweaking depending on how they're being used.

As a fellow XT2 user, I'd suggest you're probably sharpening too much, not using masking enough, and doing too much pixel-peeping.

This is a very unhelpful answer. Canon and Nikon users dosen't have to worry about this it seems. A software expansive as Adobe Lightroom just should be able to handle RAW Files from one of the biggest Mirrorless Camera Manufacturers. This is just poor Software, and I'm currently looking for an alternative, even though I still need that stupid CC Subscription, only to use better software whenever I can, but it's the industry standard, a very poor standard.
