Lightroom Classic freezes, and then crashes my imac (lightrom freezes and then imac reboots automatically) every time I export pictures. I am on lightroom classic version 8.4.1 and imac is on OS Mojave 10.4.6 (latest version). My imac has 2TB of storage with 40GB ram.

I have tried the following and still the issue is persisting

- reset preferances

- reinstalled lightroom

thanks

And searching for  similar problems  invariably points  to hardware issues, often heat related (dust bunny's, fans not working, GPU overworking) , batteries (MACBook), Hard drives failing, and RAM.

Some you can investigate, some you can test, some may need a visit to an Apple Store.

    some examples:

You were right. it was a memory issue. I had upgraded the memory a few weeks ago and when i removed it, it fixed the lightroom crashing problem. thanks a lot!
