Here we go again. Lightroom began crashing on me over the last few days. All updates are current. Working fine thru the editing process and just began crashing. I have filed many reports and no contact from Lightroom yet. Anyone else have this issue just begin? Hoping for a work around.

Hello,

I'm having the same issue. I updated LrC today and updated my macbook pro's software.  I have reported this issue with LrC over 10 times and also ran the diagnostics.  The email address I use with Adobe is mfdpga@yahoo.com.  I could really use some help because I've run out of ideas to try and I need to finish and deliver this wedding gallery this weekend for a client.

Greetings all,

A new update for Adobe Photography Products has been released.  The December update contains an update for this issue.

If you do not see the update in your Creative Cloud Application, you can refresh it by hitting [Ctrl/Cmd]+[Alt/Opt]+[ R ].

Note: It may take up to 24 hours for your update to be available in your Creative Cloud app.

Thank you for being so patient.

Thanks for getting back to us. I'm going to reach out to you privately to work through a few more options. Please watch for an email directly from me.

Yes I upgraded my storage in hopes I could get the library to sync so I could access the already edited pics online. No luck. I also uninstalled and re installed after the updated storage. No luck. Still getting the Adobe Error message about 20 to 30 seconds after booting the software.

@Chris Sims Photography we have a theory about what might be going wrong for you, and it may be in our upload code. It looks like your storage increased today; we'd like to know if that helped. If not, we have a few other things we can suggest trying.

Ben I appreciate that. As you said I am greatful for the help. I PM you  my ID. I tried to pull them up on the online software. However just as everyone you try to get the most pics on your plan and you go over by 1 gb and it stops syncing. So I dont have access to the pics I have already edited. I will have to reupload them and reedit on the online software. I was trying to save hours of work to be able to spend those lost hours with Susan.

Hi Chris,

I'm so sorry about your wife.  I'm also sorry that Lightroom is in any way contributing to the list of things you have to worry about at the moment.  (And thank you Rikk for bringing this thread to my attention.)

I will check in with the engineering team to see if there might be a fix that we can get to you privately so that you don't have to wait for a public update that contains a fix.  (Note, however, that it will likely be Monday before I can check with the team.)  Also, if you send me a private message with your Adobe ID (the email address that you use to log into Lightroom/Creative Cloud) I can apply a credit to your account to compensate you for the time that you've been unable to use Lightroom successfully.

I realize that none of this solves the problem in any immediate way for you.  If you need to edit these photos urgently, you should be able to do so either through Lightroom on mobile or Lightroom on the web, assuming that all of the photos have synced successfully from the desktop application to the cloud.  Try going to https://lightroom.adobe.com/ and signing in using the same account you used to sign in on the desktop.  If your photos have synced from the desktop, you will see them all there, and can edit them right in the browser.  You'll likely find that the process is not as fast as editing in the desktop application, but most of the same editing controls are available in the web interface.

I'll check in again on Monday, after I've had a chance to connect with the engineering team.

All the best,

Ben

Unfortunately, I do not have an update to share at this time. As I said, "This thread will be updated when I have more information."

I will drop a note to the developer.
