P: Add GPS coordinates to multiple photos

Using Lr cc, and I would like to add GPS coordinates to multiple images. I'm copying the coords from Google maps but can only paste it into the GPS field one image at a time. Is there a way of adding it to multiple photos taken at the same location?

IDEA: Bulk Metadata Update (especially Location/GPS related information)

I'd be surprised if this feature request has not yet been created however, I was unable to find it to add my up vote.

Currently using Lightroom v.9 on Windows 11.

While location and geotag information is available in the 'Information' section I'd like to be able to bulk add or change location and geotag info on a selection of photos. This feature has been available in Lightroom Classic for a long while but is not a functional alternative because Lightroom Classic doesn't sync back and forth with Lightroom.

Thanks!

In Lightroom Classic CC, unfortunately, there isn't a built-in feature that allows you to directly paste GPS coordinates into the metadata of multiple photos at once using the GPS field. The software only allows manual entry of coordinates one image at a time when using the Metadata panel.

I have been waitign for this deature even since LR CC was released. The below work around is ok IF you have LR classic as well. But this costs extar depending on your CC plan. Please Adobe introduuce this feature asap!

Adobe Lightroom (desktop) will allow you to paste GPS coordinates to multiple photos, you just have to be in Grid view at the time. If you're in Detail view, it only applies to the active photo.
