Lightroom Camera Images are Blurry

These are clearly out of focus both. The autofocus behavior  is different in the Lightroom app then in the native app

Charlie.D so sorry for the delay in responding. I've attached screenshots of an an object I took a picture of on my desk. Same light, same distance. I also attached the screenshots of the camera settings for comparison. All of these images are taken with a fully updated iPhone X.

1. The first image was taken using the camera built into Lightroom using the Auto settings and the telephoto lens
2. The second is a screenshot of the Lightroom camera
3. The third is the same image taken with the native camera app using the default settings and the telephoto lens
4. The fourth is a screenshot of the native camera

I should note, that the camera in Lightroom is not blurry 100% of the time, and I have only had this a problem since I updated to the latest version. I've taken some wonderful shots with the Lightroom camera before.

As others have said, a screenshot may help us understand what's going on.  My guess is that after capturing images in Lightroom Mobile's camera, you may be tapping on the thumb that appears in the camera -- this shows the last image captured.  This Review mode indeed shows images at a lesser resolution than the actual final image.  Can you confirm what happens when you exit the camera and open the image in Edit or Info views?  They should be as sharp as images from the iOS native Camera app or DSLR imports).

Please show an example. The lightroom camera is a little more likely than the built-in camera app to give you images that have camera shake in them as it is meant to give you more control and therefore doesn't "think for you" as much as the built-in app and by default doesn't use the LED to light up stuff when you are underexposing, etc. The options on the other hand give you more control of exposure, focus, etc. but you have to spend more time controlling those. It is also possible that you are simply not focusing the camera. Tap on what you want the Lightroom camera to focus and expose for when you are taking a picture.

Can you set up a tabletop shot and take the same image with both the Lr camera and the iPhone app? Please post a screen shot of them side by side. When you take the photo be sure to hold your finger of the spot that you are focusing on so that it is the same with both camera apps.
