Hi all,
I am using the most recent version of Lightroom on an Android device (Samsung A52). I have just upgraded to Lightroom Premium in order to edit and export videos.
When I try to export, save or share any edited footage I am given a "Couldn't Complete Export" error message with no further details. This happens every time. I have tried the following fixes, with no avail.
1. Clear the Cache
2. Re Log-In
3. Uninstall & Reinstall
I am able to export the videos via the online editor on PC but I predominantly use mobile so this is not suitable for my purposes. I have plenty of storage on my device and a stable internet connection. Any advice?
If not I shall have to cancel my Premium Plan and find something else. Thank you!

Please update to Lightroom Mobile 8.5 released earlier this morning in the Galaxy Store and let us know if it resolves your issue.

Please post a screenshot showing your installed version number.
Additionally, if possible, post a screenshot taken when the App fails to export including any messages you may receive.

Not the Play Store - the Samsung Galaxy Store. It is always available first at the Galaxy store and can take up to a week to appear in the Google Play store.

Can you provide your Android Os Version?
Free space on your device?
A step by step description of what you are doing in your process, including the type of video you are editing, the type of edits you are performing, the output format you are attempting?

I am using Android ver. 13 and One UI ver. 5.1.
I have approx. 8GB of storage available on the device.
The video is an .mp4 taken using my phone and imported to Lightroom automatically using the "Gallery" feature. I have copied a preset from another photo on Lightroom and pasted to the video. This has made changes in both 'Light' and 'Colour' but no other categories.
I've tried to export the video using my usual method of 'Save copy to device', when this hasn't worked I have tried to 'Export as...' and MP4 with the same results.

If you can do the following it will help the engineers diagnose.
Android Log File
Open Settings Panel, long press on the top left “Lr” icon. This will enable a “Send Feedback” button on the settings panel.
b)Now perform the usual tasks in LrA for few minutes and then please reopen the Settings Panel and tap on “Send Feedback” from settings panel. This will open up your email client after few moments and attach the logs.

Hi,
I have the exact same problem with videos as MollyGoo described: cannot save or export modified videos. I've tried with several videos, problem stays. Saving and exporting photos is working normally. My phone is Oneplus Nord (8G, Android version 12), newest LR version 8.5 isn't yet available in Playstore. I sent diagnostig log and details via email.

Are you going to help resolve this issue ? I'm having the exact same problem which has brought me here. I'm a premium subscriber, have been for a few years, this is the first time needing assistance and this is pathetic. Have you responded to all the other subscribers mentioning this issue in this thread ?
Please contact me back so I can resolve this rather than paying you $75 AUD per year for an app i can't export all of a sudden..

I discovered that if you put the video halfway you can export it. At least for me it has been the solution

I'm having same issue on iPhone 12 Pro. MP4 fails to download to device. Stuck on rendering and then Eventually says failed to render.

A heads up for those who encounter the same problem, as I am. I see this is not going to be solved by Adobe so I ditched LR and after a few weeks of trialling alternatives, the best I could find was YouCut. The colour grading isn't quite on par with LR but I can make do and at least it works. It has a lot more editing functionality than LR, so sorry Adobe but you've lost this one.
Hopefully if they realise they're losing revenue to a free app Adobe will get their act together and make a working app.

Thank you. It is completely ridiculous that this company cannot keep their software running in a stable manner anymore. The PC apps are falling apart, too. I am incredibly tired of them barely skating by.
