Lightroom Mobile failing to export videos (MP4)

Hi all,

 

I am using the most recent version of Lightroom on an Android device (Samsung A52). I have just upgraded to Lightroom Premium in order to edit and export videos.

 

When I try to export, save or share any edited footage I am given a "Couldn't Complete Export" error message with no further details. This happens every time. I have tried the following fixes, with no avail.

 

1. Clear the Cache

2. Re Log-In

3. Uninstall & Reinstall

 

I am able to export the videos via the online editor on PC but I predominantly use mobile so this is not suitable for my purposes. I have plenty of storage on my device and a stable internet connection. Any advice?

 

If not I shall have to cancel my Premium Plan and find something else. Thank you!

I am not able to export video edited in Lightroom mobile. Can anyone provide solution?

Could you share a few more details to help us troubleshoot? Specifically, what version of Lightroom Mobile you're using, what device model you're on, and whether this issue happens with every video or just certain ones?

Hi,

I am using Lightroom version 10.4.4 and my device is Motorola edge 60
stylus with 8 GB RAM. This issue is happening with all the videos.

Having same issue after upgrade I believe.  Was functional before for other video exports.

Same problem. This is terrible. I paid for this subscription and turns out is unusable because I can not export videos. So what is your problem Adobe? You are selling lies to consumers!!

An update: I've since trialled 5 more of the most promising mobile video Editing apps (Filmora, VN, CapCut, LightCut and Video Maker) and CapCut came out a clear winner. Same functionality as YouCut but even more tools. This one gets close enough to LR to have allowed me to abandon Adobe.

I am also having the same issue. I use photo editing quite heavily too, so will I now need two apps? adobe, can[t you fix this??

I am also having the same issue on my galaxy a52. Using Lr Mobile premium. Initially i thought it's worth it but I am not happy with the experience and service tbh.

A heads up for those who encounter the same problem, as I am. I see this is not going to be solved by Adobe so I ditched LR and after a few weeks of trialling alternatives, the best I could find was YouCut. The colour grading isn't quite on par with LR but I can make do and at least it works. It has a lot more editing functionality than LR, so sorry Adobe but you've lost this one.

Hopefully if they realise they're losing revenue to a free app Adobe will get their act together and make a working app.

Thank you. It is completely ridiculous that this company cannot keep their software running in a stable manner anymore. The PC apps are falling apart, too. I am incredibly tired of them barely skating by.

I'm having same issue on iPhone 12 Pro.  MP4 fails to download to device.  Stuck on rendering and then  Eventually says failed to render.

I'm facing the same issue as well. Mp4 exports just not working. App is updated and I'm using Galaxy S22. Attaching a screenshot.

Please update to Lightroom Mobile 8.5 released earlier this morning in the Galaxy Store and let us know if it resolves your issue.

I have reinstalled the app this morning, as such it is already up to date. The issue remains.
