Lightroom presets mouseover previewing is totally unusable on Windows machines.

1) Even with smart previews enabled and cached on the disk, even with GPU acceleration or not, even with Nvidia panel's forced graphic processor usage, even with 1080p screen and maxed frame rate to 30fps, even with sRGB color profile or the screens' default ones, you cannot preview fast the presets.

2) Also, comparing to the Tablet version, there are NO small preview squares next to each preset's name. On Windows devices, you are forced to mouseover each one, while lagging.

Am I missing something here? This is getting really annoying.

Lightroom CC still slows down when you mouseover the presets, and there are no thumbnails next to each preset like the mobile versions. Any update on this?

If there was an update, it would have been shared already. We don't hold information back on topics.

As far as I can tell, there has been no change in this thread.

I still cannot reproduce your issue on two separate Windows systems. No other customers have joined this thread or created new similar threads. Reading through your most recent responses, I do not see any new information provided by you for me to test to see if I can replicate the Preset preview rendering delay. Lacking any new information from you, I am unable to recommend anything other than standard system troubleshooting:

Preference File Reset
Clean reinstall of Lightroom Desktop (Note there is no product called "CC")
Clean reinstall of your video drivers
Clean reinstall of any mouse/tablet software drivers

Regarding Thumbnails - that is an unrelated issue and belongs as a separate feature request which does already exist: https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-ecosystem-cloud-based-ideas/p-preset-thumbnails-for-lightroom-desktop/idi-p/13147787 I recommend adding your voice to that thread and make sure you vote as well.

If you do come up with additional steps that facilitate myself or others reproducing this issue so that a bug can be loggged or a solution recommended, I will be happy to test it.

We are unable to reproduce this behavior at this time.
The likeliest culprit is a video driver. I don't see video driver specs or current version number in your post so far. Can you supply that?

Mind that the mouseover functionality works flawlessly on Lightroom Classic. This slow down behavior happens only on Lightroom CC.

Are you able to provide system specs for your PC?

I took a quick look on a 7 year old system with Nvidia GTX970 (now a pretty low spec card) on a 4K monitor and am seeing less than a second on non-AI presets. That is key here: Non AI Presets will be much more responsive than say the Adaptive presets. It might be helpful to know which presets (if not all) are causing a delay. A video showing the lag would be great if you can provide one.

Below you can find the requested video and my specs. Although, these help you solve the lagging issue. The "preview box" which is implemented on tablets, but not on Windows devices, need a fix. I attach a screenshot of the presets panel on my iPad as well for referrence.
